Rural communities in Côte d’Ivoire face significant agricultural challenges, including crop diseases and water scarcity. Cocoa, the nation’s largest export, sustains many villages, yet declining production due to land degradation leaves families struggling to survive. Nearly 49% of the rural population lives below the poverty line, and children often walk miles to school without proper meals.
We provide nutritious meals to these communities while collaborating with local leaders to identify sustainable agricultural solutions. Our support ensures families can focus on rebuilding livelihoods without the immediate fear of hunger.
Bringing Clean Water to Rural Families
In the rural communities of Ivory Coast, something as simple as clean water is a daily struggle. Families often walk for miles to reach the nearest water source—water that is often dirty and unsafe to drink. This water fuels their lives, but it also fuels disease, hardship, and lost opportunities.
We believe no family should have to choose between quenching their thirst and risking their health. That’s why we are working to bring wells and clean water to these underserved communities—but we can’t do it without your help.
