For many, the holiday season is a time of joy, togetherness, and celebration. But for countless others, it’s a stark reminder of what they’ve lost or never had. Families struggling to make ends meet, individuals grieving the loss of loved ones, and those who feel defeated by life’s relentless hardships often face this season alone, their hearts heavy with despair.
No one should be left out of the holiday spirit, especially during such a meaningful time of year. That’s why we are committed to providing more than just meals—we’re delivering hope, kindness, and a sense of belonging to those society often forgets.
Bringing Clean Water to Rural Families
In the rural communities of Ivory Coast, something as simple as clean water is a daily struggle. Families often walk for miles to reach the nearest water source—water that is often dirty and unsafe to drink. This water fuels their lives, but it also fuels disease, hardship, and lost opportunities.
We believe no family should have to choose between quenching their thirst and risking their health. That’s why we are working to bring wells and clean water to these underserved communities—but we can’t do it without your help.
Building Shelters, Restoring Hope
For those without a roof over their heads, The Holiday season can be one of the coldest and loneliest times of the year. My Education, My Future, does not just feed people—we’re working to provide a safe and stable place for those without shelter to call home.
Homelessness is not just a lack of housing; it’s a loss of stability, security, and dignity. For many, it’s the result of circumstances beyond their control—job unavailability/loss, illness, mental health struggles, or unexpected life events. These individuals often feel invisible and forgotten, especially during the holidays when the world around them seems to move on.
